Here's the Deal
While we’re sure you’re overly joyed that wedding season is coming to a close (how many more LBD’s can you wear and $200 checks can you cut?), you’re seriously going to miss evenings filled with non-stop dancing, catered food, and generously flowing drinks. And while you could easily do without eating another slice of Red Velvet and hearing “Shout! (a little bit softer now)” ever again, you’re going to need to get your grooving, wining and dining fill somehow. And it may as well be on a boat.
So get excited for your post-work, celebration, wedding-substitute activity: Marco Polo Cruises. This cruise and charter service scores 4.5 stars on yelp for their quality service, delicious food, gorgeous fleet of ships and outrageous parties, and today you can set sail on one of their Evening Party Cruises for less: $39 for one ticket aboard any of Marco Polo’s 2.5-hour evening party cruises through December 31, 2010 ($79 value).
Your voucher gets you on board and includes an all-you-can-eat buffet dinner, two complimentary drinks, snacks, and an unforgettable view of the Manhattan skyline at night. You’ll sail past Wall Street, Ellis Island, Governors Island and then loop around the Statue of Liberty. Plus, there’ll be a live DJ spinning Top 40 and throwbacks, and since we know two drinks is never enough, there will be a full cash bar with amazing drink specials that will keep the party going all night.
All Marco Polo Evening Cruises leave from East River Drive and 23rd St. on the east side. Boarding starts at 7pm, your ship will set sail promptly at 7:30pm (fashionably late is not so fashionable when you miss the cruise!), and it returns to the dock at 10pm. Most cruises run Friday and Saturday nights, but check their schedule for available dates and give Marco Polo a call to make your reservation in advance.
So gather the gang (whether it’s your co-workers, friends, or out of town fam), buy as many vouchers as you’d like (use one per person per cruise), and set sail on a spectacular, dinner, dancing and drinking cruise this fall.
